Great TR ErikTN! Rain can be a blessing or a curse at parks, but if it doesn't close the rides, the clearing of the crowds certainly works in your favor. I look forward to seeing your future updates on the progress of Wild Eagle. I hope to get there in November to see how it is coming.

Great Report. Nice to see things staying open in the rain.

Thanks.

And yes, rain was certainly not a negative by any means. It did make the mood & atmosphere more peaceful. Reminded me of the time we were at SFOG when a shower went over, and we just sat under the carousel shelter watching it rain. Created a mood of the park that not many people stop to appreciate. So think twice before high-tailing it outta a park or cancelling a trip alltogether just because of grey weather. It also gives a great opportunity to take advantage of a park's sometimes skipped indoor activities. Speaking of, here is a short 4-min clip of my favorite scene from Sha-Kon-O-Hey! This, and Deadman's Party at SFOG run neck 'n neck for my favorite stage show at any park. And for good reason. 8-)

This was filmed back in '09 (not by me), and has the scene when "eagles" fly over the audience.

And yes, there will be more updates very soon on Wild Eagle's progress!
