Do you think we are getting Justice League?

I am hoping for Justice League announcement on Sept 3, but I honestly have mixed feelings about it. Yes, another quality dark ride would be greatly appreciated at this park. Especially for many of the SFOG visitors who have not been to other parks and experienced them. I have had the good fortune of experiencing Spider Man at IOA and Transformers at Universal :o . Introducing that sort of ride experience to SFOG would be a welcome addition to the park.

My concern is that maintenance and downtime could possibly be an issue. If this type of ride is not properly maintained, then many of the elements could be lost or neglected over time. But I have a feeling that a Hurricane Harbor expansion may be in the works. We'll see soon :?: .

I am very excited about today's announcement for SFOG. The 2 new children's sections will increase the rides for younger guests, and I particularly like that there are family attractions mixed in with the kiddie rides. I am looking forward to the flyers (great addition to the park!), the bounce/drop tower, and the water ride. I am also interested in the mirror maze as this would be, I believe, the first mirror maze installed in a Six Flags park. What a great way to bring back a classic attraction. I assume it will be in the old Spanish fort, perhaps in the same location where the old haunted house used to be? I am hoping they play up the funhouse theming on the redo of Wile E. Coyote. While I will miss some of the more deliberate Spanish theming, this is a great addition for the park and I am looking forward to it.

I was a little disappointed that we did not get a Justice League ride for 2016. But I have seen other websites and resources that point towards 2017 as the year for us to get one. So I can wait.

Have to agree with Ronny that the 2016 additions are great for the park. IMHO, SFOG has always fallen short in providing enough in the way of children's rides. I think these additions bridge that gap nicely. I like the Superman drop tower ride. Definitely a good option for slightly bigger kids looking for some thrills. The addition of a flyer intrigues me. I like the idea of being able to control the vehicle and get the rudder to make it as thrilling a ride as you want. They can be really fun once you master the technique. Can't speak from experience even though I have visited a few parks that had flyers (most recently Carowinds), but did not bother to wait in line.

Does anyone know exactly what's going on with Ninja? Is just new paint or are we getting new trains as well?

I remember reading the press release from SFoG - and I can't remember if they said new trains or complete rebuilt. Either way, the park was touting a smoother ride.
