Received this on my email. I wonder what we are getting? "On Thursday, August 28, we’re making a big announcement and we promise it’s going to be amazing. Look for a special newsletter that day with all the exclusive details about what’s ahead for 2015. Plus, check our Facebook page early if you want a few clues! We can’t reveal the surprise yet, but we can tell you that it’s going to be no exception to all the great surprises and thrills we’ve brought you over the years. Stay tuned and keep guessing."

Would it be safe to hope for a S&S Screamin' Swing? Maybe tear up that whistlestop area...I've never seen anyone go in that area... or come out...

Just got back from Gurnee. Great America.

X-Flight? Super Sweet!
Goliath? pretty clever and nice theme. Steel/Wood.
Revolution? always loved that swing ride.

I really don't know? But if I did? I can't say? Ok?
Go Back? Go Six Flags!

The thought is it is going to be a 22m Super Looper
http://www.larsonintl.com/pages/giant-l ... -loop.html

This fits the #1 teaser of a circle and tall and teaser #2 of 70' tall.

NOOOO NO NO NO!!!! SFOG!!! WHY ARE YOU DISAPPOINTING ME!?
I'm glad we got a flat ride, but I feel like this will look really cheap.

Two new rides.
The looping "coaster" jokers chaos, and a tilt-a-whirl Harley quinn spinsanity
The park needed more flat rides for familys.

Well.... Have to weigh in with two cents on this.

First of all, the forum of public opinion on the SFOG Facebook page is mostly negative  . It's disappointing to hear that Carowinds is getting a 325 ft coaster next season and $20 million in other improvements. And we are getting carnival rides ???

On the other hand, I always felt that Gotham needed more down in that area. I hate walking down that hill into a "dead end" area that only has 3 rides. 2 of which my 5 year old grandson can't ride (he loves Mind Bender but is too short for the other 2). So I am glad there will be "more" down in that area. And FWIW I am a fan of tilt-o-whirls. They can be pretty fun. But to call the "looping" Joker ride a "coaster" insults everyone's intelligence :|

To summarize, I was not expecting much this year at SFOG. I think a lazy river and additional expansion of HH will be next year. I know many people are not fond of HH but I think it was a good addition to a park that lacked attractions for families with young children. Especially considering the summer heat of Atlanta.
