I saw MR6 at the park last week and he said he and others are getting a wierd message when they try to go on this site. I came home and checked mine and I can get in, but I traded e-mails with him and he is still getting a message. I am not sure exactly what it says, but it is something to the effect that if they go to this site their computer will be damaged. He said that Wildthing is having the same problem. I was hoping that Chris, Jackie or John could check this out and see what is going on. I have had no problems getting in and have gotten no such message. We have so few posters on here, I hate for some of our regulars to not be able to get in. Thanks.

The message comes from when Destination South was down because of a hacker. The message says
"Reported Attack Page!

This web page at destinationsouth.net has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Attack pages try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system. Some attack pages intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners. "

Generally it takes about 30 days later the issues has been corrected for this type of message to go away.

Yep, unfortunately the main area of the site was obliterated ... right before Chris and I left town for 10 days for our wedding. We really didn't have time to get it fixed, so we're working on that now. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks Jackie, and congratulations to you and Chris! That is certainly understandable. I'll let MR6 know you are working on it.

I was seeing the site, but no pics, links to forums, etc. This started several weeks ago(?) but never saw the attack warning.

This is Ronny and I have been off the forum for a while because my password got messed up and in spite of the new ones that were sent, I could never get it to let me in. I tried sending some e-mails but didn't hear back so I must have had the wrong addresses, and since I couldn't get on the forum, I couldn't communicate that way. Anyway, I finally decided to register a new account. I know it won't connect to my old posts, but at least I am back on. I plan to have some photo trip reports coming over the next few weeks. I saw MR6 at the park a while back and told him why I hadn't posted, but I am glad to be back on!
